Summary Of The Book

Originally Shiva Sutras or aphorisms of Shiva are a collection of fourteen verses that arranges the phonemes of the Sanskrit language. They are also known as Ak?arasam?mn?ya. According to a legend Lord Shiva himself divulged the Sutras to Panini the famous Sanskrit grammarian. These Sutras are considered as the foundation of Kashmir school of Consciousness.

The Shiva Sutras are categorized into three parts viz. Shambavopaya, Shaktopaya, and Anavopaya. Each part explains the different methods of elevation from individual consciousness to divine universal consciousness.

About Swami Sukhabodhananda

Swami Sukhabodhananda is Bangalore based spiritual leader. Swamiji was born in the year 1955. His original name was Dwaraknath.
